Tim

Tim Boer is partner in the AXECO Technology M&A team. He has completed over 55 transactions with an aggregate deal value exceeding €15 billion. Tim possesses one of the most extensive Technology M&A track records in the Dutch mid-market, having advised on more than 25 technology transactions with an average deal value exceeding €200 million since 2021. He advised founders, management teams, private equity investors and international strategic acquirers on landmark transactions across software/SaaS, AI, IT services, fintech and digital transformation sub-sectors. In 2022, Tim won the award for best M&A advisor of the Dutch mid-market (MenA Awards 2022).

Tim joined AXEO in September 2023. Before joining AXECO, he was Managing Director at ING Corporate Finance. When he’s not working on deals, Tim can often be found on the golf course or out for a run. Whether that translates into better negotiation outcomes is difficult to say, but endurance and focus are qualities that serve him well in both arenas. Together with his girlfriend, he is raising two wonderful children.
